I do apologize for being away. My brother is getting married tomorrow and I have been busy with family event (actually, I should be getting ready for one as we speak).
Further, the weather here in Seattle is absolutely gorgeous. Seriously, the stereotypical rainy Seattle is only during the winter. The summers here are amazing.
Currently, I am sitting on my deck in 75º weather, sipping peppermint water while I'm writing this.
I also must add that, because my summer reading list has grown by five more books, I've been spending as much time reading as humanly possible.
I just finished Neil Gaiman's Stardust. I have to admit, I saw the movie first and I loved it. It was fun and magical so I had to read the book. Of course, there were major differences in the book than in the movie. Some were good, others were not. I felt as if the movie was much more of a love story and had much more drama. While the book simply felt like a typical man telling a little story about an adventure.
You can decide which would appeal to you more. Personally, I think I liked the movie better. Only one other book I could ever say that about is BigFish.
Unfortunately, all this means that I have had zero time to write - literally, zero time in the past couple days. I probably will have little time this weekend as well, since we are going away for my brother's wedding.
The great thing is, we are doing a 10 day beach vacation to Oregon next month. My parents are coming with us and I'm hoping that these 10 days will provide me with a ton of writing time. Please pray that inspiration and motivation strikes during these 10 days.
I also want to apologize for not reading blogs in two days. I feel so behind and I miss you all. I'll be back to my regular schedule next week.
