:(

I just realized I replaced an new folder on my computer with the old one. Therefore, I just lost days and days of work. And there's nothing I can do... *cry*

Magic wand anyone?

I really wish I could help you, but my magic is all used up!

That sucks! I'm so sorry...maybe the new days of work will be even better!

Oh, that's awful! I'm sorry!! I don't know what to do. I lost ten pages once and I almost cried/threw my computer across the room. One of the many reasons my first draft goes on paper.

aw man that sucks!!! Double check your trash can to make sure you didn't just accidentally put it in there.

That has never happen to me but I am going to wear black tomorrow in honor of your lost work. I'm sure what you will replace it with will be equally as good or better!

That's terrible. You need to get straight into redoing it while it's still fresh in your memory. There is a way to salvage old files but I'm not techie enough to help. Sorry :-(

Thank you for all the kind words. Unfortunately, it is not salvageable and it did ask me if I wanted to replace the folder, there is nothing in the trash since I just replaced it. I had accidentally been saving to my backup unknowingly so when I backed up my original folder, it deleted my old back up where my most recent work was. Ugh. I nearly started crying and was freaking out. It's such an awful feeling because my only option is to just continue writing.
