Progress Check-In (pledge writers response request)

It's that time again. I want to hear how all the pledge writers are doing.

Do you have goals? How much have you accomplished over the past month? Are you comfortable with where you are in the process?

I have created my to-do with Things for Mac desktop edition and (so far) I'm sticking to it. I have one essay for school left, a couple of responses in an online discussion and I have to finalize a website.

For my timeline for the WIP, I'm right on track. I still have a LOOOONG way to go but I'm getting there. You should see a lot from me over the summer though. No school = more time to write! Yay!

I am on track, met the half way mark on the first draft of my MS. I had a goal of 10,000 words this week and I believe I made it. It's coming along nicely.

I think I'm on track, but it's hard to tell this week. My most focused on WIP is over 13,000 words, and I'm about to start a break from school which will allow me to spend more time each day on all four of my WIPs.

Knowing I've made this commitment helps, especially on nights when I want to wimp out and be lazy.

I haven't written since starting the process of moving and home repair, but now that we're settled into our new home, I'm starting writing again. I'm actually planning on getting back into writing tonight!

Well, I think I'm on track, yet this query letter is taking A LOT longer than expected.

Who would have thought condensing ones own novel would be so hard?

But persevere I shall :)

I still need to finish up what I started for NaNo-- I made it to the 50,000 to complete NaNo but need to write more and go back to fix whatever needs fixing. I behind the schedule that I had set and doing the A to Z Challenge really kept me busy, but had a great time with it. Hope you might post some of your observations about A to Z on May 3rd-- we want to hear from those who were following the Challenge.

Reading your profile made my eyes leak, Earthly goodbyes are so very hard...but the heavenly hellos will bring it all together.
I’ve enjoyed looking over your blog. I came across it through another blog I follow. I am now a follower of yours as well. Feel free to look over my blog and perhaps become one as well

I'm just updating my blog on this topic. I'm trying to organize it in a way that I'm not overwhelmed when I go to work on it.

Mmm, I know I'm late to the game as usual. I'm making progress, but feel I've fallen a bit behind. I wanted to start querying in June, but now hope to be ready in July.

Life got in the way I guess, and that is alright too. :)

My passion is writing Communion meditations. I have a small book of meditations at the press now. I don't consider myself a good writer, but blogs like this help me learn.
I’m your newest follower. Feel free to look over my blog and become one also.

Oh, I'm off track. Visitors and work stuff. But I'm dying to get back to my revisions!

I'm just about completed with my first draft! You and I are the opposite with schedules. Summer is my busiest time. The rest of the year is more relaxed.

As far as goals, yes, I am very happy where I am. I set small goals each day. I found the small steps are what's getting me there.
